The Navajo Indians first began using silver when the Spanish came to their country seeking gold in 1865. Their Blacksmith Atsidi Sani admired the silver on their horses and Spanish outfits so he got the Spaniards to teach him how to work with the silver. Later in history the Navajo learned to use Copper which was held in high regard. Copper and Sterling Silver are twined together to make this Navajo Copper Silver Twist Cuff. It is 3/16 inch in width and is custom made for wrist sizes 6 inches to 7-1/2 inches. Larger or smaller sizes can be made for an additional fee. This cuff is made by Navajo artist Joey McCray. A Certificate of Authenticity comes with the Cuff to verify that it is Native American Made.
